"I am a ceramic artist working in central London. I studied art at City & Guilds of London Art School and then embarked on a Textile Design degree at Central Saint Martins. I was born on Lantau Island in Hong Kong and raised on the Isle of Wight in Southern England, so my work is deeply inspired by the sea and all it surrounds - eroded rock formations, delicate coral structures, the organic shapes of flotsam carried by the tides and island life.​ I’m interested in referencing natural forms, but not replicating them—nature is already the most extraordinary artist. Instead, I try to reflect how the natural world makes me feel, and let that energy and emotion shape the work.

My time at Central Saint Martins was cut short due to chronic illness. I went through a bit of a scary time, where I had to strip away pretty much everything that I knew, and start again.

 Through the stillness of pausing, I began to rebuild my life piece by piece, around what felt gentle, sustainable, and true. Working with clay gave me something I didn’t entirely expect — healing. 

Each ceramic work represents a moment in that journey. They are fragments, markers of clarity, grief, resilience, and growth. In a sense, they are parts of myself that I found after the storm — the pieces I chose to carry forward into a new way of living, one that is more fulfilling and wonderful than I could ever have imagined."
